When websites are built for future growth, they do not need to be replaced. The Lexis update shows how a scalable foundation leaves room for change over time.
From start-up to established firm
A few years ago, Lumeno worked with the newly established law firm Lexis to design and develop both its brand and website. As with many early-stage companies, there was limited visual material to work from. The solution therefore relied on clear structure, strong typography and a restrained, professional expression.
The result was a thoughtful website that communicated trust and expertise, built on a flexible and scalable technical and visual foundation.

New needs over time
A couple of years later, Lexis returned. The company had grown, added employees and developed a clearer identity. Its needs were no longer the same as at launch, and this time the goal was not an entirely new site, but a focused homepage update.
The main emphasis was the hero section, which needed to reflect a more established firm and create space to show the people behind it.
From neutral surface to human expression
The original hero was clean and visually balanced, but relatively impersonal. Together, we replaced it with a solution that accommodated photography of employees and their environment. This brought warmth to the site and helped communicate who Lexis is today, not only what it does.

Websites as living platforms
This project illustrates a core principle in how Lumeno works: websites are not static deliverables, but living platforms that should evolve with the business. When structure, design and technology are built for growth, adjustments and optimizations can be made over time without investing in a complete redesign.
For Lexis, a relatively focused update created a significant visual and communicative impact.
Less dependence on an agency
Usability is another important aspect of the solution. The site lets the client update copy, images and content without involving the agency for every small change. This is a deliberate choice on our part.
Too often, companies must contact an agency for even minor adjustments, creating friction and unnecessary costs. With a good publishing tool and thoughtful structure, the client can handle ongoing updates while we step in for larger functional or visual changes.
A foundation for continued growth
The Lexis update shows how long-term thinking in digital projects creates value over time. Instead of starting again, we built on what already worked and adapted the solution to new needs and ambitions.
That is how websites should work: as a solid foundation for continued growth, not a one-off project.
