CMS structure is how content types, fields, relationships and templates are organised in a CMS. The structure determines how editors enter content, how pages relate to one another and how easily the website can expand. A good structure makes the content understandable both to people and to the system presenting it.

What does CMS structure involve in practice?

The work starts by identifying content types and relationships. For term pages, the model may consist of services, subcategories and terms, while other websites need Collections for projects, people or articles. Fields such as name, slug, main content, SEO title and references should each have a clear role.
